It’s an uncertain time we’re living in, Mavens. We hear you, we feel you, and we’re standing alongside you as we all navigate a strange new world thanks to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Indy Maven was founded on a sense of community and never have we all needed each other more than we do in this moment—even as we must physically distance ourselves from one another. We know your businesses, your careers, your families, and your futures have all been thrown into disarray and we want to do all we can to help you—and ask for your support in return.
To that end, we’ve put together a number of resource guides across categories like health and fitness, retail, restaurants, and more to showcase how members of our community are managing this new normal and offer ways we can support their endeavors. This page will serve as a table of contents with links to separate stories of interest which we hope you will find useful and share with your own networks.

For all of our small business owner friends, we’re sure many of you saw this message from Mayor Joe Hogsett, but just in case, we wanted to drop it in here.
“The federal government has allocated $50 billion to the Small Business Administration (SBA) for Economic Injury Disaster Loans. In order for Hoosiers to gain access to this funding, the State of Indiana (@GovHolcomb and @Indiana_EDC) needs to collect small business economic impact data from every county in Indiana,” Hogsett tweeted. “That means — we need your help! If you know of an entrepreneur or small business that has been or anticipates being impacted by the coronavirus, please ask them to complete this form: isbdc.org/indianacovid19. Information obtained from this form will ONLY be used to assist in requesting an economic injury disaster declaration from @SBAgov and identifying greatest areas of need.”
