Becoming a member on nonprofit, private sector, and government boards is for women looking for career advancement, personal fulfillment and leadership development. Attendees will hear Jasmin’s experiences with board leadership on several non-profit boards and tips on how to leverage board experience to transform a career. She will share what it has taken to achieve the board positions; how board participation has advanced her professional growth; and the kind of intentional and strategic thinking and networking recommended to help women achieve their own board membership goals.

About Jasmin: Jasmin French is a leader who excels at building consensus across diverse, purpose-driven, and inclusive teams. She is a critical thinker who solves complex business problems, adeptly using authenticity and relatability to motivate others to achieve impactful milestones.

Jasmin is a proud ambassador of the city of Indianapolis and enthusiastically contributes to her community. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art, the Central Indiana Community Foundation, and the Advisory Board of the Indianapolis Zoo. She is a former Board Member of the Women’s Fund of Central Indiana and past Board Vice-Chair of Girl Scouts of Central Indiana. Jasmin was appointed by Indianapolis Mayor, Joe Hogsett, to the General Orders Board (a 7-member board of citizens and police responsible for drafting Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department policies). She is a graduate of the FBI Citizens Academy (Indianapolis) and the Indy Chamber’s Advance 317 Leadership Exchange program.

Jasmin is an Account and Segment Business Development Manager for the North America Engine Business at Cummins, Inc., responsible for developing the growth strategy for key business segments including rental, leasing, pick-up & delivery, and private fleets. She joined Cummins Inc., a global power solutions leader, in 2017 after many years of supporting business transactions as a corporate lawyer.
