Kionna Louise Walker is the Founder and CEO of Next Great Architects, an AIA award-winning teaching studio that introduces architecture to students as early as kindergarten and nurtures them through college and licensure.
Kionna Louise graduated with a Bachelor’s in Architecture from Ball State University and a Master of Architecture from the Boston Architectural College.
She has over 17 years of experience in architecture and recently joined Ball State University’s R. Wayne Estopinal College of Architecture and Planning as the first African American Woman Instructor of architecture for the University.
Kionna Louise is the author of the children’s book, Jamila Pearl The Architect Girl, and the memoir, Broken Ruby: A Memoir of Healing from Generational Adultery. She has coined herself the Transparent Trailblazer and Vision Map Mentor because her passion is fueled by sharing her progress to help others avoid and/or navigate similar situations.
