Marissa lives on the Northeast side and works as a Customer Marketing Specialist at Bloomerang, a local nonprofit tech company. A lover of pop culture, reading, DIY home decor, and thrifting, she has a passion for making things both beautiful and meaningful. She loves belting out Taylor Swift songs and building Lego masterpieces with her 6-year-old son, Parker. Organization is Marissa’s superpower—she was once told she has all her Google “Docs in a row.” She’s a strong advocate for LGBTQ+ inclusion, women’s and parents’ rights, and mental health awareness.

What have you achieved recently that you’d like to celebrate with our community?…I was named one of Bloomerang’s marketing team caregivers earlier this year, and my “trophy” was a Care Bear stuffie.
What’s next for you? What can we expect to see over the next few years?…Growing alongside the customer marketing team at Bloomerang and morphing into my “stage mom” era by taking my kiddo to acting class.
I feel most myself when…Wearing an oversized Hello Kitty crewneck while thrift shopping and listening to Taylor Swift or Conan Gray. Ask me about my perfect Northside thrifting route. 😉
My “must-have” product is…AirPods (with noise cancellation).
