Yin and Deep Relaxation at Fountain Square Yoga on Tuesdays at 5:45 P.M. and Fridays at 6 P.M.

www.fountainsquareyoga.com/

Cost: $16

As we continue to spend more time than usual at home, it’s still very important to take time for ourselves…which can mean meditating and connecting our body, mind, and breath.

Yin is a practice that holds poses for a longer period of time, allowing the body to slowly melt onto the floor or props, giving you time to focus on your breath, and permitting yourself to calm the chatter of the mind by observing your thoughts with no distractions, and then letting them go.

Participants will want to set up in a quiet and comfortable space with no distractions, dim lights, soothing music, light a few candles, and grab some blocks and a bolster or grab several pillows.
