Christina DeWittMy Maven Superpower is…My superpower is the ability to bring calm, clarity and hope into chaotic or painful moments.

Best book I’ve read lately is…Like Mother, Like Mother by Susan Rieger. This is an enthralling novel about three generations of strong-willed women, unknowingly shaped by the secrets buried in their family’s past.

Self-care habit I swear by…Morning sunlight either naturally or through light therapy. Sunlight exposure can increase serotonin levels, which may reduce stress, anxiety, and symptoms of depression!

My first job was…At a very small, local tanning salon and movie store combination.

The best career advice I can offer is…Inspired by Vienna by Billy Joel: “Slow down—life isn’t a race; the most meaningful moments are waiting for you when you stop rushing and trust that your life will unfold in its time.”

A purchase I’ve been loving lately is…The perfect lip tint from a small local business, Beehive Body Company in New Castle, Indiana.

I feel most confident when…My system nervous is regulated.

My favorite local restaurant dish is…FoxGardin Kitchen & Ale’s Whipped Goat Cheese with hot honey and sea salt.

The thing I’ve been binging lately is…The ‘Burbs staring Keke Palmer.

A fun fact about me is…I was the first person in my family to attend and graduate college.

The skill I most want to learn is…To skateboard.

A Maven you should know is…Joy Higbee

What have you achieved recently that you’d like to celebrate with our community?…The Indiana Business Journal’s Excellence in Health Care Mental Health Advocacy award, 2026.

What’s next for you? What can we expect to see over the next few years?…In the years ahead, I’ll still be right where my heart has always been—loving people well, leading with compassion, and continuing to care for and serve others in ways that strengthen my community.

I feel most myself when…When I am in nature, hiking, or simply listening to the bird’s chirp, enjoying God’s creation.

My “must-have” product is…A good cup of coffee.
