My Maven Superpower is …

Empowerment. I love working with women to help them take charge of their health and their lives.

Best book I’ve read lately is …

“An Elegant Defense.” It’s all about our immune system. Written by a journalist, it’s a very easy read.

Self-care habit I swear by …

Early morning walks. I need time either alone or with a few friends in nature.

My first job was …

Fast food! And I ate A LOT of it!

The best career advice I can offer is …

Don’t look at others to validate your success. We all have our own paths.

A purchase I’ve been loving lately is …

Ultima Replenisher Electrolytes. I’m always in the market for electrolytes that deliver without tasting too sweet.

I feel most confident when …

My body is strong.

My favorite local restaurant dish is …

Sticky Toffee Pudding at Late Harvest. Because you have to splurge sometimes…

The thing I’ve been binging lately is …

Lessons in Chemistry. It was a great book too!

A fun fact about me is …

I recently took up crocheting again…it’s a bit ‘old school’ but a wonderful stress reliever.

A Maven you should know is …

Carissa Hawkins.

My favorite nonprofit to support is …

Big Brothers Big Sisters. I was on their board for several years and was a Big Sister too.

What have you achieved recently that you’d like to celebrate with our community?

I just finished a comprehensive series of classes that allow me to work with the *hardest* clients. Think autoimmune, mold issues, brain health.

What’s next for you? What can we expect to see over the next few years?

I will continue to build my 1:1 practice and will add a group program for perimenopausal women in the next year.
