A fun, refreshing twist on a traditional margarita, the inventive drink uses Oliver Winery’s Cherry Moscato wine to give the perfect hint of sweetness. Cheers, mavens!
Ingredients:
- ½ Tbsp kosher salt
- Zest of one lime
- 1 oz. fresh lime juice
- 1 oz. tequila
- 2 oz. Cherry Moscato
- ½ oz. Montmorency cherry juice (or grenadine)
- Sliced lime for garnish
Directions:
Combine kosher salt and lime zest in a shallow dish. Dip the rim of an 8 oz. cocktail glass in water and then into the salt/lime mixture. Fill cocktail glass with ice. Pour fresh lime juice, tequila, Cherry Moscato, and cherry juice or grenadine into cocktail glass. Stir to combine. Garnish with a fresh lime wedge.
