Good weather is just around the corner (we can feel it!), so there’s no better time to start planning those day trips when friends and family pop in for a visit. Noblesville is definitely an up-and-coming hotspot to watch as it continues to grow in Hamilton County.

Whether you’re looking for historic downtown charm or live music this summer, this town (a 30-minute drive from downtown Indianapolis) is continuing to add new businesses and events that are family-friendly and great for a girls’ day.

Celebrate our state flower by shopping the 150 vendors, hanging out at the beer garden, and taking floral-inspired classes. This event is free and open to the public. We can’t wait to take home SO MANY flowers!

A cozy breakfast spot perfect for the kids is Rosie’s Place. Located right on the square, this family-owned restaurant is a local favorite that serves breakfast all day and also has a bakery. Looking for some outdoor adventure for the whole family? Choose from a variety of kayak, canoe, and tubing trips through the White River Canoe Company. Kayaking with a group always makes for fun memories and is something we plan to add to our summer list! For outdoorsy land activities, Strawtown Koteewi Park is the place to go. Your kids will have a blast trying their hand at archery or horseback riding on the public trails.

Nothing says “Girl’s Night” like jamming out with your besties at Indy’s largest outdoor amphitheater, the Ruoff Music Center. Are we already forming a girl group to go see Avril Lavigne there? Absolutely!

From music to art and shopping →  Noblesville Main Street hosts a First Friday series where businesses are open late so you can explore and get discounts while you sip, dine, and shop in the historic downtown area. There are also special events going on all year long, like Salsa on the Square and a Front Porch Music Festival.

Bica CafeLooking for a one-of-a-kind experience? The Nickel Plate Express offers a variety of exciting adventures perfect for every member of your group. Hop aboard the Forest Park Rail Adventure—a 7-mile trek where you and three friends pedal a quad bike through scenic landscapes during a fun-filled two-hour ride. Spice up your evening plans with one of their immersive Murder Mystery Dinner Rides. Or spend a lazy Sunday afternoon with the ladies on their popular bourbon tours, offered a few times throughout the year.
