If there was ever proof that women are ready for honest conversations about their health, this was it.
Our January Indy Maven Meetup, Unfiltered: A Women’s Health Conversation We All Need, brought together a full room of women eager for clarity, candor, and real answers—no filters, no judgment, and no rushing through the important stuff. In partnership with Hancock Health, this conversation delivered exactly what our community has been craving.
From hormones and aging to supplements, sexual wellness, and surgeries, the discussion tackled the questions so many women think about but rarely feel comfortable asking out loud. The result? Laughter, nodding heads, thoughtful pauses, and more than a few “why didn’t anyone ever explain this to me before?” moments.
We are incredibly grateful to our powerhouse panelists who showed up with expertise, empathy, and a refreshing commitment to honesty:

Dr. Kerri Kissell, Medical Director of Endocrinology at Hancock Health, brought clarity to complex hormone conversations, breaking down topics like sexual wellness, labwork, and hormonal shifts in a way that felt approachable and empowering. Her ability to connect medical expertise with real-life experience resonated deeply with attendees.
Dr. Michelle Kitsis, board-certified surgeon specializing in robotic surgery, offered thoughtful insight into surgical care, decision-making, and all things gallbladder! Her calm, transparent approach helped demystify topics that often feel intimidating or overwhelming.
Dr. Molly Strong, OB/GYN and Medical Director of the Women’s Clinic at Hancock Health, grounded the conversation in compassionate, patient-centered care. Her perspective on women’s health across life stages reinforced just how important it is for women to advocate for themselves and ask the questions that matter most.
Jenn Wells, Assistant Vice President of Customer Experience & Brand Strategy at Hancock Health and host of Just Jenn: A Women’s Health Podcast, guided the conversation with warmth, humor, and intention. Her ability to create a space that felt safe, inclusive, and genuinely engaging made it easier for attendees to lean in, open up, and feel seen.
Together, this panel modeled exactly what women’s healthcare conversations should look like—honest, informed, respectful, and human.
This night was a powerful reminder of why Indy Maven exists: to bring women together, create space for meaningful conversations, and connect our community with resources that make life better—health included.
Because when women get real answers, we get real power. 💥
