Just like so many of you, I’m really missing my group fitness workouts—both for the physical benefits, and also the mental and emotional ones. My daily exercise routine is one of the ways I help manage my stress and anxiety, two things that are out in full force right now.

Luckily, many of our local studios and gyms are coming up with creative ways for you to still get your workouts in with virtual classes and offerings. Not only is this a great way to take care of yourself and still feel a part of your community, but also to help these small business owners who’ve had to unexpectedly close their doors.

INVOKE STUDIO

Invoke Studio is offering classes via Zoom. Right now they have vinyasa, mat Pilates, Core HIIT, and Bar Effect—with plans to add more as their two physical locations remain closed. They recommend signing up at least 15 minutes prior to class and you can register via Mindbody using your Invoke membership, a regular class package, or by purchasing a Zoom drop-in for $10.

“Some of you have asked how you can help us during this time,” owner Amy Peddycord wrote in an email to clients. “We are offering gift card sales ($100 value for $80 and $50 value for $40) if you would like to purchase for yourself or as a gift. Also, if you like you could use this downtime to write us a review on Yelp, or Google or send an encouraging word to your favorite teacher.”

THE DAILEY METHOD INDY

The Dailey Method Indy is also offering live classes via Zoom—including Barre, Fusion, and Interval. You can sign up to get your fix here. Keep up with the latest info on their Instagram, @tdmindy.

STRONGER WITH SARAH

Speedway trainer Sarah Gardner (no relation!) is offering family-friendly workouts online for those of you looking for something active to do with the kiddos. The family that works out together stays sane together, right?!?

Abby Gardner is Indy Maven‘s executive editor is is really missing her Orangetheory classes and Invoke reformer sessions.
