Hi Mavens!
As many of you know, we were so excited to host Hoosier native Ashley C. Ford for our very first Big News IRL event sponsored by CICF on March 27 at The Cabaret along with our friends at Pivot. We have been closely monitoring the coronavirus/COVID-19 situation and given the information and guidance at this time, we have decided to postpone the event. The health and safety of all of you and our larger community are the top priority.
The good news is that the event will be rescheduled for a future date, but of course we will continue to follow any guidelines set by the CDC and local officials to ensure that we are making safe and healthy decisions for us all. All tickets purchased will be honored at the next event. Should you be unable to attend on the rescheduled date we will be happy to issue you a refund. Or, if you’d like, you can direct us to donate that money to the non-profit associated with the event, Girls, Inc. of Greater Indianapolis.
In the meantime, we’ll be here with lots of great content for you to read while you’re working from home or socially distancing yourself—so don’t worry about that. We are grateful for all of you and look forward to a time when we can all gather together again.
