Are you looking for a knockout cheese and meat tray to take to a fall tailgate, to host friends for a college football game watching party, or just to enjoy with your family? Here is a step-by-step time lapse video showing how to make a charcuterie board, courtesy of Christy Johnson, owner of The Bountiful Board, a customizable charcuterie board business.

If you’re not sure what to add to your charcuterie board, don’t worry! You can use your favorite array of thinly-sliced meats like prosciutto, salami, ham, and turkey, plus a mixture of hard and soft cheeses like brie, parmesan, and asiago. Then add in a variety of crackers in different sizes, shapes and flavors, plus some dried or fresh fruits and nuts. You can also include cut vegetables like carrots, celery, and peppers, as well as some olives and pickles.

Last, don’t forget the sweet treats: Sprinkle in some chocolates, candies, or cut-up desserts like brownies or Rice Krispie treats, and then arrange it all on a tray or board for you and your guests to enjoy. For the perfect finishing touch, top off your creation with a festive decorative pick or two, and you’ll have a tasty display that your guests will adore.
