An old-house lover, Bette currently lives in one built-in 1860 with her husband and son. Tell us more, Bette!
My Maven Superpower is … Enthusiasm – this is the feedback I receive most often from my clients and people I work with.
Best book I’ve read lately is … I really enjoyed The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. I loved the exploration of the ‘in-between’ life where the main character slides between various possible lives she could be living as she realizes that she does indeed want to live (after a suicide attempt). It is a modern-day “What A Wonderful Life”. Highly recommend.
Self-care habit I swear by … Yoga – I’ve been practicing for over 40 years. It fits every stage and circumstance of my life.
My first job was … My most fun first job was ‘beer and chowder girl’ at a restaurant on Cape Cod.
The best career advice I can offer is … Know what you value and know your worth.
A purchase I’ve been loving lately is … Super soft cashmere wrap.
I feel most confident when … I’m working with a group of people – facilitating and coaching.
My favorite local restaurant dish is … Anything at 9th Street Bistro in Noblesville – Chef Samir is a James Beard nominated chef. Come check it out!
The thing I’ve been binging lately is … I’m really old school and for shows, I watch one episode a week. That being said if I were to binge something it would be Shrinking. Definitely binging the gorgeous spring weather!
A fun fact about me is … I speak Russian.
A Maven you should know is … Molly Meiners
My favorite nonprofit to support is … Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank
Something to celebrate … I just completed a NeuroCoaching certification.
