February 2026 Overview

Welcome to February 2026, where we exist in a reality that feels stranger than fiction and the Sun blasts out Aquarian energy. You may think Aquarius is all little green men, people wearing lots of silver, and astute aloofness, but we’re stepping into a zodiac cycle that begins to genuinely shift the landscape.

In January, we were thrown directly into the fire, beginning the year with some seismic planetary shifts. While maybe the dust never truly settles, at least Aquarius’ revolutionary, progressive energy will move the needle. If you were getting by on naïveté before, unfortunately, that is no longer an option. The challenges impacting the collective have become impossible to ignore and have escalated quickly.

We’re moving away from the Capricorn energy that prioritizes personal security. Aquarius shifts the focus towards the good of the collective. At the beginning of the year, we embody that Capricorn energy, setting goals for ourselves and setting ourselves up for success. If a new year is about giving yourself a solid baseline of okayness, the focus now shifts to support an at-least-okay future for all. And changes are coming quickly and with purpose.

This year, the fact that we are absolutely, deeply not okay as a collective is glaringly obvious and reaching a major tipping point. I could try to explain this with astrology – and it does make astrological sense. But nothing can make a genuine lack of concern for others make sense. Nothing can explain a selfishness that disregards human life.

But this is what Aquarian energy really is. It’s less about weird girl energy or Jetsons-esque future-casting. It’s more about a true revolution that grows from the ground up. The trickle down eventually runs out of places to go, while the roots that spawn from the cracks persist and cannot be squelched, no matter how hard the effort against them. There is no opting out of a revolution. A lack of participation is participation.

Also emerging this month is a serious need for self-expression. Every major revolution in history is marked by art. It can be difficult, while in the throes of clashing ideals, to acknowledge individualism, but this is part of what feeds the flame of universal change. Whatever you have to offer right now, the world needs it, and that’s great, because this month, it feels like you’ll explode if you don’t express yourself.

At the same time, there could be some delays or frustrations when it comes to pursuing personal goals. I would argue that this is because Aquarius energy makes the needs of the many feel way more important than the needs of one. There’s also an opportunity in the way you handle your frustration here. Whatever happens here provides a secret third door. An unexpected alternate route out of the struggle is hidden within this opportunity.

IMPORTANT DATES THIS MONTH

February 1 – Full Moon in Leo
Step into the light. You may have the sudden urge to give in to creative or romantic urges. Following your heart here is helping you see who you’re becoming.

February 3 – Uranus stations direct in Taurus
Uranus has a final brief stint in Taurus before settling down in Gemini until 2033. This brings an urge to listen to our instincts, take risks, and buck against the system.

February 6 – Mercury enters Pisces
Sensitivity is heightened, and communication is softer and more vulnerable. Read the room before responding emotionally.

February 10 – Venus enters Pisces
Compassion and sensitivity towards others’ feelings become the norm. Lean into it, but still don’t ignore the alarm bells if they go off.

February 13 – Saturn enters Aries
Things heat up. Challenges are confronted. Transformation happens faster. Be brave and challenge the status quo.

February 17 – New Moon Solar Eclipse in Aquarius
A new eclipse cycle means a new era. Today, expect the unexpected.

February 18 – Sun enters Pisces
Usually, this last big push of winter reminds us to reflect and reconnect with our imaginative inner landscape.

February 25 – Mercury retrograde in Pisces
Watch out for being oversensitive and easily angered, even if it’s about imaginary scenarios. This can bring the kind of devil-on-your-shoulder vibe that makes you mad at someone IRL for something they did in a dream.

BIRTHDAY ROYALTY <3 Aquarius (January 20 – February 18):

You have no choice but to stand in your power and be assertive about what you want and need. If you don’t do it, nobody will. Your life could change dramatically this month, and while it may be jarring, it feels like this is a good thing. There is a silver lining. Release yourself from whatever relationships you don’t want to continue carrying. You’ve outgrown some things, and that’s okay. It just is. You have to trust that things are going to go your way. Take the leap, and the net appears. On the 6th, Mercury moves into your house of money, and a few days later, is joined by Venus. Resources and support are coming; don’t squander them. Your success is inevitable. You just can’t get where you’re going by following the same steps you took to get here. You are finally, finally entering your expansive era, and things are going to come together for us, fellow Aquarians. I just know it.

Tarotscope | The Wheel of Fortune
The world turns. If it’s felt like you’ve been on the wrong side of the story, just know that the wheel of fortune is always turning. It’s got to be your turn sometime.

NOW FOR THE REST OF YOU...

Pisces (February 19 – March 20)

Just when you think it’s time for you to settle down and hibernate, you are reminded of your goals and responsibilities. But as you’re awakening to your personal power, your voice will be boosted. Throughout the month, you could see changes to how you show up for others, as you feel compelled to draw boundaries (or tear them down). Whatever you do to help, as long as it’s rooted in authenticity, will strengthen you and give you a boost.

Tarotscope | The Star
You’re learning to trust what you feel before you see it. A light guides your way towards true hope and restored faith in your purpose.

Aries (March 21 – April 19)

Saturn and Neptune are meeting up in your sign this month, urging you to reconcile your genuine desires against your need to succeed. Are you actually paying attention to what you’re doing, or are you just being impulsive? Mid-month, you will feel called to put your back into building something real. It could be that you’ve had an idea circling for ages, or something new could spark inspired action.

Tarotscope | Three of Cups
You’re going to need help. If you ask for support, you’ll get it.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20)

Your connection to your network is at the forefront this month, so you’ll be feeling social. It’s still important to stay grounded and keep tending to whatever creature comforts keep you sane and happy. While you’re socially activated, you’ll still want to stay focused so you don’t lose sight of your goals. When the opportunity presents itself, step out of your comfort zone and put yourself out there to connect with people who inspire you.

Tarotscope | Ace of Wands
A spark and a burst of energy reignite a creative flame.

Gemini (May 21 – June 20)

You are a hologram, suddenly aware of how your inward reflection is playing out externally and in how you express yourself. Mercury retrograde tugs at you to revisit the past, and this could be exactly what you need right now. What plans did you abandon or leave unfinished? Pay attention: a song lyric, a passage in a book, a conversation in real life. A reminder from the past may be the piece that’s been missing in the present.

Tarotscope | Eight of Swords
You are not as limited as you believe you are. When you stop believing in it, it stops being true. Another hologram.

Cancer (Jun 21 – July 22)

Invest in relationships that feel like a nourishing two-way street. The boundaries you set this month are actually going to help reinforce your sense of belonging down the line. You’ll continue to feel connected and grounded over time, as long as you nurture your connections with intention. Your loyalties and responsibilities lie mostly with yourself. Don’t neglect number one.

Tarotscope | Two of Cups
Mutual benefit doesn’t just imply transaction.

Leo (July 23 – August 22)

Your joy is contagious and expansive. Early this month, with the Full Moon in your sign, a powerful creative flame is sparked, and then the eclipse later in the month gives you opportunities to build on it. When you follow your inspirational impulses, the flame grows. You’re building something meaningful for yourself, which is also helping you support the people closest to you.

Tarotscope | The World
You can see the meaning in everything all at once–what led you here and what drives you forward.

Virgo (August 23 – September 22)

You have a special kind of magic–the kind that’s practical and methodical. This month, you’re being called to consider whether your daily practices, habits, and routines are in alignment with your goals. If the future version of yourself wouldn’t do it, neither should you. Revisit your plans and release what drains your energy. If it isn’t lifting you up right now, it’s dragging you under.

Tarotscope | The Magician
You have what you need to get what you want, but nothing will change if you don’t.

Libra (September 23 – October 22)

Things are taking a serious turn for you, especially when it comes to your relationships and partnerships. The eclipse this month shows you where you’ve compromised too much. If it costs you more than it benefits you, there’s an imbalance. Where has sacrificing your needs and desires gone too far? You can continue these partnerships–take this chance to clarify and redefine the boundaries.

Tarotscope | Five of Swords
What you thought would get you closer actually pulled you further out to sea.

Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)

What first seems like a major win passes without fanfare. You may realize that your energy has been misplaced. It seemed like it would pay off if you focused and devoted yourself to a cause. But that wasn’t your cause, and so when you were rewarded, it was lackluster. It was not a waste, but how exhausting. Go home. This month is like Chicken Soup for the Scorpio Soul.

Tarotscope | 7 of Wands
That feeling when you get what you thought you wanted, but it’s lame, and you still want more. It shouldn’t be so hard.

Sagittarius  (November 22 – December 21)

You have been through the wringer, and still, there are miles to go before you sleep. This month has so many comings and goings. You feel like running away, so that you, too, can be one of the goings. But you are seriously needed at home right now, and besides, the problem persists even when you ignore it. The best you can do is get through it. On the flipside, there is a chance that while you’re raw dogging and white knuckling, a passion emerges to help bring you through to the other side.

Tarotscope | The Chariot
If it seems bleak right now, just know that it’ll be on the other side soon. If you want me to stop, you’re gonna have to fucking kill me dot gif.

Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)

Good fortune comes your way this month as the Sun lights up your house of income. You don’t have to be the perfect example all the time, but right now you feel motivated and compelled to set yourself up for future success. Mid-month, Saturn will shift into your house of domesticity for the next two years. Soon, your focus will shift, and you’ll be glad you read the fine print, paid attention to the details, and invested in this version of yourself.

Tarotscope | 7 of Pentacles
You may not see where this is going right now, but your work will pay off.
