CHOPPED COBB PATACHOU AT CAFÉ PATACHOU

Owned and run by Martha Hoover, Café Patachou, a beloved breakfast and brunch spot, also offers a delightful salad known as The Chopped Cobb Patachou. This vibrant creation combines leaf lettuce with roasted chicken, tomatoes, red onions, avocado, gorgonzola, bacon, hard-boiled egg and a house vinaigrette. With seven locations, you can grab this classic just about anywhere in town. 

FALAFEL SALAD AT CANAL BISTRO

Canal Bistro, a Mediterranean restaurant in Broad Ripple co-owned by Mona Hanna, presents a Falafel Salad that’s bursting with Mediterranean flavors. This salad features “four falafel patties served on a bed of romaine lettuce, tomatoes, onions and cucumbers.” It’s served with their signature house dressing and tahini sauce. It’s a light option that will transport you to the sunny shores of Greece. Pro tip: upgrade the tahini sauce for a spicy tahini sauce to add an extra kick.

GHOULISH GREENS AT SCARLET LANE BREWING COMPANY

Scarlet Lane Brewing Company, brainchild of Eilise Lane, not only whips up craft beer, but can put together a hearty salad, too. The Ghoulish Greens Salad combines “spring mix with fried tortilla strips, pico de gallo, roasted poblanos and monterey-jack” for a fiesta of flavor with a crunch to tantalize your taste buds. With a plethora of add-on options, you can customize this salad to suit your whims.

JACQUIE’S CAFE TUNA AND LIME SALAD AT JACQUIE’S NUTRITION BAR

Owned by Yasmin Betancourt, Jacquie’s Nutrition Bar presents Jacquie’s Cafe Tuna and Lime Salad. It celebrates the versatility of salad with its inclusion of mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion and a champagne vinaigrette. Each bite offers a new combination of flavors and textures, making every forkful a delectable surprise.

SUMMER SALAD AT GARDEN TABLE

Garden Table, co-founded by Maven Jessie Harden, offers a Summer Salad that showcases vibrant colors and flavors of seasonal produce. This salad features “spring mix, onion, cherry tomatoes, strawberry, avocado and a raspberry vinaigrette.” It’s a delightful combination of sweet and tangy elements that highlights the best of local ingredients.

HOT CHICKEN SALAD AT GALLERY PASTRY BAR

Known for their delicate pastries, don’t count out Gallery Pasty Bar, owned by Alison Keefer, for a delicious summer salad. The Hot Chicken Salad includes “mixed greens, white cheddar, red onion, tomato, fried chicken, house hot sauce, and a roasted lemon vinaigrette” to make a fiery twist on a classic. Need something savory but healthy? The Hot Chicken Salad will surely satisfy with its explosion of flavor.

PARM CRISP CAESAR SALAD AT THE FLATIRON

To finish us off, the Parm Crisp Caesar at The Flatiron at The Point on Penn, co-owned by Rolonda Brown, is a classic you just can’t miss out on. It’s got all your standard ingredients- romaine lettuce, parmesan cheese, croutons, Caesar dressing- but is topped off with a parmesan crisp, adding the perfect crunch to a timeless taste.
