My Maven Superpower is … Curiosity! I enjoy learning things from every discipline imaginable and am always on the hunt to learn something new!

Best book I’ve read lately is … Himawari House by Harmony Becker

Self-care habit I swear by … Cozying up and watching Studio Ghibli movies.

My first job was … Working at Zionsville Farmers Market at a produce stand

The best career advice I can offer is … Don’t be afraid to ask for help. After graduating college last year, I held the misguided notion that it would be a burden to ask professionals for career advice. Since I was no longer undergraduate student, they would expect me to be self-sufficient by now. However, that was not the case of course. After unlearning this, I have been reaching out to people whose careers I admire with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn as much as I can from their advice.Black and White photo of Downtown Indianapolis

A purchase I’ve been loving lately is … The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

I feel most confident when … I’m performing a hip-hop/K-pop dance on stage with my dance team!

My favorite local restaurant dish is … Vegan pad thai, hands down!

The thing I’ve been binging lately is … Ted Lasso

A fun fact about me is … I am a Chinese-American transracial adoptee!

The skill I most want to learn is … learn Korean!

A Maven you should know is … Michelle Dahl

My favorite nonprofit to support is … Intersectional EnvironmentalistGirl in bright pink dress leaning against railing

What have you achieved recently that you’d like to celebrate with our community? I’ve been able to dedicate more time to my photography business these past few months, and I am happy about the growth

What’s next for you? What can we expect to see over the next few years? My goal is to work in the entertainment and creative industry while continuing to pursue my photography business! I hope to photograph for top fashion magazines in the world and work in the animation industry in artist management or recruiting.

What’s your favorite musician? Keshi is one of my current favorite artists, and I recently attended his Indianapolis concert this past March! Not only is he inspiring due to his unique vocals and artistry, he is also a fellow Asian-American artist who majored in a field that is unrelated to his current career. Seeing that he took a big risk to follow his dreams gives me motivation that I can do the same!
