Last Wednesday night, we cozied up at The Indianapolis Propyleaum for an inspiring and delightfully practical evening with interior designer Lauren Ramsby—founder of FOUR STORIES Design Studio and the genius behind the popular course How to Edit a Room. With her signature mix of savvy style and down-to-earth know-how, Lauren led a group of mavens through transformative steps to make any room Pinterest-worthy.
Armed with laptops, photos, color swatches, and half-full wine glasses, attendees got to work identifying their personal design styles, choosing their core colors, analyzing room functionality, and learning how to anchor a space like a pro. Lauren broke down layout logic, color smarts, sourcing secrets, and the magic of styling—reminding us all that you do NOT need a gut renovation or thousands of dollars to love your space. This event provided space for participants to make room renovations while receiving real-time feedback from Lauren about what does and does not work in their current spaces.
Whether you came ready for a complete room makeover or you just needed a little design inspo, each and every participant left this workshop with a plan, a purpose, and a Pinterest board ready to come to life.
A big thanks to Lauren Ramsby for bringing her design magic, and to everyone who joined us for this energizing and style-packed evening. If you missed the event, but want to get started with editing your room, take Lauren’s home style quiz to get started!
Join us at our next meetup on June 5th at Ageless Aesthetics for Indy Maven’s Girls Night In—an evening full of beauty perks, bubbly vibes, and serious self-care!
