Tickets to Tonic Ball seem to sell out in a minute each year, but that’s because it’s one of the most spectacular nights you’ll ever have in Indianapolis. (Plus, proceeds go to a great cause: Second Helpings.)
At this year’s fundraiser on Nov. 22, more than 80 bands will pay tribute, in 20-minute sets, to the Ramones, Diana Ross and the Supremes, Radiohead, Bob Marley and the Wailers, and the Beastie Boys. Many of those bands will be fronted by amazing local women. Here are 14 worth checking out:
