1. Londontown Kur Nail Concealer
My brother and sister-in-law gifted me this Kur Nail Concealers mini collection set for my birthday, and it was immediately my dream product for nails. Sadly, the set I received has been discontinued, but you can see their best sellers here. londontownusa.com
2. Yoga with Laura Thompson
I used to love doing hot yoga with loud hip-hop music several times a week. This is currently not the season I’m in. Recently, my friend and fellow Maven Catherine turned me on to Laura Thompson. One Stress Relief Yoga class later, and I was hooked. https://app.ubindi.com/Laura.Thompson

3. Necessary Endings
If you didn’t hear the news, I closed my business, Maven Space, at the end of April. When I told my therapist I was doing it, she loaned me this book,“Necessary Endings: The Employees, Businesses, and Relationships That All of Us Have to Give Up in Order to Move Forward.” It isn’t just a business book, but it was exactly what I needed to read. I’m confident anyone can apply this book to some part of their life. drcloud.com
4. Tropical Blue Smoothie
The Tropical Blue Smoothie from Georgetown Market is my favorite new drink. Made with coconut, banana, pineapple, and blue spirulina (I add shredded coconut)—it’s like vacation in a cup and I can’t get enough. $8.50, georgetownmarket.com

5. Getting My Finances in Order
There’s nothing like the responsibility of paying back a big loan debt (see number 3 above) and talk of a recession to get you to take a closer look at your finances. Here are a few resources that have helped: Farnoosh Torabi’s So Money Podcast, Tori Dunlap’s Financial Feminist (book and podcast), listening to Liz Ann Sonders speak at the Bedel Financial Luncheon, and a thorough review of my expenses with my wonderful bookkeeper and husband. Those are two separate people, for the record, but I love them almost equally.
6. Tinned Fish
Tinned fish have been popular for a minute now and I’m enjoying trying new types, flavors, and brands available and places like Dear Mom Indy, Nicole Taylor’s, even Orangily.

7. TV: “The Residence” and “The Gentlemen” on Netflix
Speaking of tinned fish (IYKYK), I absolutely adored the Netflix mini series “The Residence,” and hope there’s a second season (TBD if one’s coming) because I feel like Uzo Abuba’s character Cordeilla Cup is now a friend. I equally loved “The Gentlemen,” also on Netflix and have been channeling my inner badass, Susie Glass. Theo James isn’t bad either.
8. Mondays at The Prop
My home office is coming together but I still need days out of the house and am enjoying having meetings and workdays at The Indianapolis Propylaeum as part of our Member Mondays collaboration. The coffee is hot, the parking is free, and my children and dirty dishes are nowhere to be found—hallelujah. Indy Maven x The Indianapolis Propylaeum

9. Seedlings
Every year, I plant an container herb garden and then pretty much let my kid do the rest of the vegetable garden and whatever happens, happens. This year, my husband has taken up growing seedlings and it’s been so fun to watch him bond with our son over the process. They even took a gardening workshop together at Alice’s Garden. Watching their seedlings grow alongside their relationship has been a beautiful thing.
10. Garage Sale
I love browsing garage sales, I do not love hosting them. My husband, however, who lives for a barter and an awkward moment thrives in the role. Last weekend we teamed up and hosted a pretty great garage sale —there was a moment where I thought we might discuss divorce but in the end, we made some money and purged a lot of clutter. Win-win!
