Rachel Woloshin

Rachel Woloshin, Partner at Church Church Hittle + Antrim, is passionate about helping people in their time of need. That’s why she became a personal injury attorney not only advising and navigating clients through injury matters, but also taking the burden off of their shoulders so they can focus on their recovery in the midst of tragic circumstances. Tell us more, Rachel!

My Maven Superpower is … Being organized. I am a huge believer that there is a place for everything, and everything should be put in its proper place. I love detailed to-do lists and checklists and purging routinely.

Self-care habits I swear by … Setting boundaries. It took me a bit to accept that setting healthy boundaries isn’t about pushing people away or hurting feelings; it’s about taking care of yourself and listening to your own body and needs. It can make a big difference between fulfillment and burnout.

I feel most confident when … I am showered and dressed for the day. Amazing how much better it makes me feel!

My first job was … A store associate at Linens N Things, where I learned how to properly fold bath towels for display.

The best career advice I can offer is Make it a priority to maintain personal relationships. Get to know your colleagues, go to networking events, attend fundraisers, and be involved in the community organizations you are passionate about. Maintaining personal relationships is so important for both professional and personal growth.

My favorite local restaurant dish is … I recently had the Hot Honey Burrata at the Garden Table in Carmel and it was so delicious! Actually, everything we had on their dinner menu was wonderful.

The skill I most want to learn is … How to meditate. I could really use that skill some days.

My favorite nonprofit to support is Prevail, Inc., which offers crisis intervention and restorative support services for adult and child survivors of crime and abuse.

The thing I’ve been binging lately is … Wednesday on Netflix. I just started it!

Something I’d like to celebrate … We recently celebrated my daughter’s first birthday, which was also a celebration of my husband and I getting through that first year. Not that we did more or less than any other parent, but we did the best we could together and we made it.
