2022’s Best Pumpkin-Flavored Finds in Indy

The leaves are changing, there’s a chill in the air — fall is finally here, and so is pumpkin spice season.

While you were digging out your sweaters from the back of your closet, we were busy rounding up these delicious pumpkin-flavored treats from local Indianapolis businesses that are all either owned or co-owned by women.

Caramel Pumpkin Pie from Pots & Pans Pie Co.

Clarissa Morely’s Pots & Pans Pie Co. is putting a special twist on a fall favorite. The company’s Caramel Pumpkin Pie features traditional pumpkin pie filling made with caramelized sugar and a cinnamon-graham crust with just a little bit of espresso. The pie is finished off with a sprinkle of pumpkin seeds, and it can be picked up in-store during October and November for $6 a slice or $33 for a whole pie.

Pumpkin Spice Popcorn from Just Pop In!

Just Pop In! has a “Hello! Fall” Pumpkin Spice Popcorn for $8 a bag that has become a seasonal favorite. It is caramel popcorn accented with a pumpkin spice seasoning blend featuring hints of cinnamon, sugar, nutmeg, allspice, ginger, and clove.

Pumpkin S’more Cupcake from The Flying Cupcake

The team at The Flying Cupcake is rolling out a new “Pumpkin S’more” flavor on their menu this season. It features pumpkin spice cake filled with milk chocolate ganache, topped with marshmallow fluff frosting, and sprinkled with graham cracker crumbles and a Hershey bar. It’s like getting all your fun fall flavors in one! They’re $4.95 each, with an $8 discount if you order by the dozen.

Pumpkin Spice Donut à la Mode from Moo & Lou Frozen Treats

The Pumpkin Spice Donut à la Mode is a must-try from Moo & Lou Frozen Treats. This $7 dish features two locally made ingredients from here in Indy: A donut from Tuttle Orchards and melt-in-your-mouth pumpkin ice cream from Sundaes Homemade Ice Cream. For the perfect finishing touch, it’s topped with caramel, whipped cream, and nuts.

Autumntide Pumpkin Cider from Ash & Elm

By popular demand, Ash & Elm is bringing back their Autumntide Pumpkin Cider this season. It’s made with real pumpkin and hand-ground baking spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and clove. You can order a 4-pack for $10.99, and this year they are also having an Autumntidings Fall Festival on Oct. 22 featuring cider tastings, music, and food galore.

Fall Favorite Stuffed Apple from Tweety’s Sweeties

NaTasha Pepper’s Tweety’s Sweeties offers a variety of delicious pumpkin-flavored items, including this innovative Fall Favorite Stuffed Apple for $10. It’s a fresh apple that she stuffs with pumpkin pie (or sweet potato pie if you prefer), then covers in chocolate and tops with candied pecans.

Pumpkin Bread with Pepita Streusel from Circle City Sweets

Fresh out of the oven from Circle City Sweets is a mouth-watering pumpkin bread with pepita streusel and a side of cranberry butter. You can find it for $10 beginning in October at their location at The Amp at 16 Tech, or on Saturdays at the Carmel Winter Market.
