Join Forces to Help Indy’s Creative Community at (Re)Start With Art

The Arts Council of Indianapolis is putting on a free virtual benefit is with all donations going toward local artists.

They created murals to advocate for racial justice, designed neighborhood art adventures, sewed masks and gowns for healthcare workers, invited us “into” their homes for virtual concerts and how-to classes, and led arts and cultural organizations through challenging times. Women artists, and arts and culture leaders, have done a lot to keep us connected and inspired during this pandemic.

Now, it’s our turn to celebrate and support them, along with other talented local performers and artists, at (Re)Start With Art, a virtual benefit from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23. Wear your best fall-gala outfit, or wear your most comfy pajamas, and enjoy an online-only evening of inspiring stories, performances, and special guest appearances. Tickets are free through the Arts Council of Indianapolis, but all donations go to the Keep Indy Creating Relief Fund to benefit local creatives and nonprofit arts & cultural organizations.
