5 Things I’m Loving This Week

Our fabulous marketing intern, Gracen Perdue, shares her current favorite things in Indianapolis.
5 Things I'm Loving

Thrifted

Indy is home to some of the coolest thrift stores and lately I’ve been obsessed with checking them out for some back-to-school shopping. One of my favorites is Zodiac Vintage in Fountain Square. They are stocked with vintage denim, graphic tees, and so much more. On Thursdays, schedule your own personal shopping experience. Don’t forget to bring your mask!

#Organized

Life is a little crazy and uncertain right now, especially as I prepare to start classes at Butler again. One way I stay sane is with my hourly Live Inspired Planner. This planner lets me visualize my entire week and also identify goals for the days ahead. Butler grad Kennedy Harris created Live Inspired to help support the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. She will be releasing the 2021 planner soon and I just can’t wait to get my hands on it!

Yummy Eats

One of my favorite things about Indy is all the delicious food options this city offers. One of the staples in my life is Broad Ripple Bagel Deli. Home to Indiana’s only steamed bagel sandwiches, my roommates and I stop here almost every Saturday morning to get our day started. It’s a popular breakfast spot on the weekends, so I recommend calling ahead and doing pickup.

Sustainable Fashion

Going along with my vintage and thrift obsession, I am loving all of the bags (and everything else) on Hello September. Margaret (the founder) started Hello September to make sustainable shopping a simple and refreshing experience. Woven bags are all the rage right now and I’m keeping my eyes peeled for another bag like this to pop up on the site.

Treats for the sweet tooth

If you are anything like me and love all things sweet, then you know about Nicey Treats. Nicey is another one of my favorite spots here in Indy and when it’s this hot outside, its the perfect way to cool down. My go-to is the Dark Chocolate Sea Salt, but they have a variety of different flavors, including vegan options. They even ship treats to your doorstep. Brb ordering some now…
