HANDMADE NOODLES
I love supporting local spots in my neighborhood, so I was excited to hear that we had a new Japanese restaurant opening up (and props to them for opening during a pandemic). Seraphim Asian Grill opened at 921 Broad Ripple Ave, and theyβre all about fresh, healthy, housemade ingredients. Iβm not ashamed to admit Iβve ordered carryout no less than four times already and highly recommend the Curry Laksa.
RETAIL THERAPY
Do I need new kitchen utensils and glassware? No. Am I going to buy a set of stoneware mugs and ceramic tumblers from HOUSE SEVEN design + build? Most likely. Iβve been following them on Instagram for awhile and finally popped in (masked up) last week to take a look around…and now I want to redesign my entire house. Pro tip: grab carryout from Apocalypse Burger next door.
TREE HUGGER
Did you know that you can nominate your favorite tree to be Indyβs 2020 Tree of the Year? Any tree in Marion County is eligible! Nominate a tree and then in September, you can vote on the finalists thanks to Keep Indianapolis Beautiful. And donβt miss their Virtual Tree Application Workshop on August 12th to learn how you can bring more trees to your neighborhood.
HAIR FREE, CARE FREE
I couldnβt be lazier when it comes to shaving – donβt expect me to pick up a razor from about September until May because I canβt be bothered. I started looking into laser hair removal options so that I could get rid of my razor for good and found this BOGO deal for laser hair removal at Modern Rejuvenation Center. Theyβre offering this special through Labor Day and I canβt wait to see the results.
ALL-NATURAL APOTHECARY
Self care is so important right now, and Iβm finding myself using the Inner Buddha grounding remedy from Twig + Birdie more than ever. I have an assortment of Lauraβs all-natural roll-ons including the Sunday Blues, Headache Remedy, and Blemish Remedy. Snag a hair and scalp remedy when itβs back in stock for a spa night at home!
