Last week, a vibrant group of women gathered at West Elm to network, shop, and dive into a meaningful discussion about the power of pivoting in business and beyond. Women from all different paths of life came together ready to mingle and buzzed with bold ideas.

The night kicked off with a dynamic networking session along with some shopping. Attendees had the chance to connect, mingle and explore West Elm’s stylish collection (because let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a little retail therapy before some real talk?). At 6:30, the main event began: a cozy, candid fireside chat between the fabulous Colleen Hungerford and our ever-inspiring Leslie Bailey. They dove deep into the art of the pivoting by sharing stories of bouncing back, switching lanes, and turning life’s curveballs into career-launching catapults.

With the crowd fired up and taking notes, the Q&A brought even inspiring advice on how to handle change with confidence, embrace resilience, spot growth opportunities, and how to make strategic moves in today’s ever-evolving business landscape. With a crowd that was ready to tackle new challenges, it was time to wrap up the night. By 7:30, it was back to final sips, more mingling, and of course—another round of shopping.

Thank you to Colleen for sharing your lived experiences in facing challenges and delving into how to overcome them, and thank you to all the amazing women who showed up and showed out for this productive and inspiring evening that taught us how to pivot with purpose.

Whether attendees came seeking new connections or fresh perspective, this chat delivered on its promise to empower women to embrace change and take charge of their professional journeys.
