There is nary an industry in Indianapolis that isn’t taking a big hit due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and the limited movement of all the citizens of our city As retail locations are forced to close and we are all homebound, it’s important to remember that many of them are still selling products and gift cards online or even offering curbside pickup for products. Many other businesses are adapting on the fly—and we must say, we’ve been impressed with everyone’s ingenuity and creativity.

Here are more ways you can support our community’s entrepreneurs. You can also check out this small business support guide from our friends at PATTERN.

IN response to COVIV-19 We will be limiting our hours and focusing on deliveries and curbside pickups to keep our staff and customers safe until March 28th. This is an extremely tough time for all of us and this unchartered territory has all of us shocked and concerned for our future. Our business is 60% brick and mortar driven and 40% fresh floral and event floral. COVID-19 and the stock market just caused everyone to understandably slam on their brakes. After taking a few days to think about our future I have decided to put on my big girl pants and do what I can now and worry about two weeks from now when the time comes. Here is what I want to do to help keep the economy going as a small business owner: We are offering you a bonus when you buy a gift card online now through 4/20: $50 = $60 $75 = $87 $100 = $120 $200 = $250 We are also working daily on adding 90% of our in-stock items to our website which should be completed by Thursday. We will have free flower and gift basket delivery through 4/30. We will also be doing curbside pickup on Thursday and Friday 11-2 from here on out. · As a consumer I am ordering take out from some of our favorite restaurants, purchasing gift cards from local businesses to use later and giving reviews that are long overdue. · As a daughter keep my mother safe · As mother be there for my kids, keep them busy and communicate with them that this will pass, and we will get through this together. · As a wife I am excited to strengthen the bond with my husband (not sure he’s excited) by having him assist me with my various home improvement projects that I have not had time to finish.
