November 2023 OVERVIEW

It’s next to impossible to believe that this year is nearing its end. I’m sorry to say if you haven’t noticed yet, it’s already Christmas at Targét. But it seems appropriate to be thinking about endings, especially as we wrap up eclipse season.

With all of the powerful eclipse energy we’ve been experiencing, combined with the beginning of Scorpio season and Halloween festivities, thankfully, November has a chill, happier astro-vibe than October did.

Endings, though they may be tough, can bless us with brightness. Perhaps you’re noticing a newfound positivity and finding some pep in your step. If so, thank the uni and yourself because this refreshing reset vibe is coming as a reward for the ties cut, habits broken, relationships ended, etc. throughout the past few months.

Saturn goes direct on the 4th, offering blessed respite from the constant onslaught of negativity.

I think it’s safe to say that almost everyone has been going through it emotionally, spiritually and financially for a good part of this year. Accepting the adversity of life with grace and deciding to see the positivity in it works wonders. And it’s great for your skin.*

  • “Scientific” Spellsisters™ fact: Walking through life’s challenges with grace and accepting change as a necessary factor of life is good for your skin.

Now I’m not saying you have to embrace toxic positivity to reap the benefits of anything. It’s okay to say that things are absolutely not fucking okay. There is so much going on in the world that is absolutely not okay.

We live in a society that isn’t structured to support emotional well-being, and we’re called crybabies when we say it’s not okay. Which is also not okay. So here I want to encourage rest. Feel your feelings. You don’t have to keep it to yourself or hold it all in to look strong. Sometimes the strongest person in the room is the one crying at the bar on a Wednesday night.

All of this has been a setup to say this: you can’t live your life waiting to get over something. Or you can. You just probably shouldn’t.

Mercury moves into Sagittarius on the 10th, giving us a better platform. Action and collaboration will feel easier with bigger ideas and a wider scope. This month could honestly be a game-changer. With the New Moon in Scorpio on the 13th, introspection is encouraged and moodiness is likely to creep in. However, intuition is heightened and you’ll realize you’re likely to catch more flies with honey, especially if you listen to your inner mystic.

Authenticity and acceptance of your personal power is the key to everything this month. Check back in with your manifesting journal and take stock of what you’ve already done this year. Understanding what you want to accomplish for the rest of the year is everything in November.

Ambition and manifestation will be backed by Mars when he enters Sagittarius on the 24th, making us all feel a little more impassioned and driven about reaching our yearly goals. Let’s get to it before, like, December 18 this year.

We wrap November with a Full Moon in Gemini on the 27th, which, when combined with all the Sagittarius energy towards the end of the month, could bring wild ideas and inspiration. There’s amazing potential to see a long-held dream come true, or at least to feel like you’re inching closer to where you’re trying to go.

So remember that things look different by the end of the month. Waiting to get over something doesn’t help you get over it–you have to do something about it and feel your feelings. When the Big Bad Things feel too big and too bad to do anything, remind yourself that even though you’re just one person, one person’s kindness can help change the world.

BIRTHDAY ROYALTY <3 Scorpio Placements (Birthday between October 23 – November 21):

Your relationships are poppin’ off this month, Scorpio! Take advantage of the dreaminess of Venus in Libra to shower your people with love. Whether they’re friends or lovers, the best thing you can do for yourself is to let people in. Let people love you! Try to be vulnerable. I know it’s your birthday season, but the greatest gift you can give to yourself is to feel good. It feels slightly off-brand for you and your “cold, black heart,” but you get where you’re trying to go only with the support of others. You simply cannot do it all alone, no matter how hard you try. You can be right or you can be happy, my dude, and I know it’s hard to admit when you’re wrong, but it’s best to accept it and move on. Holding onto a grudge will get you absolutely nowhere. Your gifts are unique, and you are special–let people see you in your magical authenticity, and when you receive compliments for your openness, respond, “Thank you, I know.”

Tarotscopes | The Sun: You can see brightness even through the clouds if you know how to look for it.

Local Scorpio: Nikki Gressley, Hairstylist & Co-Owner at D&G Studio

Famous Scorpio: Winona Ryder 10/29

Sagittarius & Sag Placements (Birthday between November 22 – December 21):

When you’re on, you’re on, baby, and this is one of those months. You’re like a magnet right now. With so many planets in your sign, you have the power to attract your most magical dreams. If you’ve felt dull or uninspired, or if things have felt like they’re just a little off, the universe is rearranging and righting itself early this month. Be your biggest, boldest, most extravagant self. Take big, calculated risks. Live your life, man. The time is now, and the spotlight’s on you.

Tarotscopes | The Star: It’s safe to let yourself hope and lean on your natural sense of optimism.

Capricorn Placements (Birthday between December 22 – January 19):

You may have felt thwarted and/or undermined by something or someone for the past several months as your ruling planet, Saturn, has been retrograde. The vibe has been stagnant for you, like you just could not make progress no matter what, and it’s true. You couldn’t. But don’t worry. The path should be clearer now. Even if the road is hard, you’re willing to take it. Give yourself a break as you recalibrate. The last two weeks-ish of the month are lucky for you. Put yourself out there.

Tarotscopes | The Magician: You haven’t lost any time–you were just building something that couldn’t be rushed.

Aquarius & Aquarius Placements (Birthday between January 20 – February 18):

It’s been time for you to TCB (take care of business) for a long time now. This is the crucial moment where you actually take the power into your own hands and figure it tf out. No more fence-sitting! Make a decision, pick a side, choose a direction. As long as something feels good to you, it’s meant for you. When you live by this rule, there is no wrong path you can choose. All the ones that feel good are meant for you. The important thing is to put yourself into one of them. Just do it–something, anything. It doesn’t matter.

Tarotscopes | Knight of Wands: Making errors because you tried something isn’t a failure at all.

Pisces & Pisces Placements (Birthday between February 19 – March 20):

Dreaming and scheming comes naturally to you. What I mean by that is that you are blessed with your best ideas when you’re quietly ruminating on them. The New Moon in Scorpio on the 14th will feel especially psychically charged for you. Pay extra special attention to messages, synchronicities, and ideas you have during this New Moon period. It’d be a good idea to journal every day this month to remember your most potent insights. There’s something important coming through that’s going to gas you up as we move into the end of the year.

Tarotscopes | Queen of Wands: You’re being guided by your heart and your intuition, and this incubates your most magical transformations.

Aries & Aries Placements (Birthday between March 21 – April 19):

You have new opportunities coming your way, and they feel heavily weighted. When your ruling planet, daddy Mars, moves into Sagittarius on the 24th, this is when things really start to move for you. Spend the first part of the month setting goals and intentions for yourself. The areas of your life that will be most impacted are career and/or education. There could be an opportunity to travel a lot more or get a new job. No matter what comes your way, act in alignment with your goals and what feels good, and you’ll definitely receive opportunities for expansion.

Tarotscopes | Justice: What’s meant for you is coming more into focus, and it’s getting easier to sign on the dotted line and accept it.

Taurus & Taurus Placements (Birthday between April 20 – May 20):

The New Moon in your opposite sign, Scorpio, is stirring something up inside you. You may recognize a void in your life or realize that something isn’t fulfilling your needs anymore, if it ever was. What you’ve been ignoring or hiding from is bubbling up to the surface and can no longer be avoided. This might not be a huge, life-changing deal, but it feels like it because as soon as you acknowledge the missing pieces in your life, you can no longer backfill with placeholders. The lesson this month is to choose yourself.

Tarotscopes | The Moon: If it feels unclear, that doesn’t mean it isn’t there. It’s just meant to be obscured until it isn’t. You’ll recognize it when you see it, like a magic eye.

Gemini & Gemini Placements (Birthday between May 21 – June 20):

You have Party Rage Fever™ this month. It’s almost impossible to resist a good time, and you are extremely ready for action. The trick is to not overdo it. You have a tendency to go full throttle and can sometimes burn yourself out–or you can burn the people around you. The Full Moon is in your sign on the 27th, bringing extra special ideas, inspiration, and excitement your way. You’re inspired and your life is enriched in social settings. You might even get ideas while you’re active this month. Listen to your intuition and go wherever you feel pulled.

Tarotscopes | Ace of Swords: A new idea brings forward motion and pushes you into action.

Cancer & Cancer Placements (Birthday between June 21 – July 22):

We all know that you’re mostly a homebody, but you’re also a good friend. This month, you’re being heavily influenced by Venus in Libra, encouraging an extra dose of beauty and charm. Use your best stickers, drink out of your cutest mug, and decorate your plate just for the hell of it. You’ll feel super drawn to your cozy creature comforts this month. Dig up your old photo albums, invite some friends over for a gossip sesh, and settle down before all the holiday festivities dominate your life..

Tarotscopes | 4 of Swords: Laying low and taking care of yourself is the most important thing to do.

Leo & Leo Placements (Birthday between July 23 – August 22):

You are super sick of waiting around for something to change or a decision to be made. This month, you feel driven and motivated to make demands, especially if you’re working with others. If you have to wait on someone else, you’re likely to take matters into your own hands, just to be done with it. It’s one thing to get shit done, but stepping on toes is an entirely different beast. It would serve you well to know the difference and be cautious of overstepping. Don’t be so focused on the outcome that you forget who you are.

Tarotscopes | Knight of Swords: Don’t be a bull in a China shop.

Virgo Placements (Birthday between August 23 – September 22):

All the Sagittarian energy this month is urging you to expand your horizons as you learn and lean into new knowledge. Taking the time to experience something new from your everyday life can make this a super powerful month for you. Should you have the audacity, you could have the potential to ignite really important changes in your sphere. Maybe speaking up at work changes policy for the better. Sticking your neck out for someone you admire could earn you a new bestie. It’s a good time to put yourself out there, use your voice, and stand up for what you believe in. Your voice needs to be heard.

Tarotscopes | The Chariot: You’re wearing the clothes, the clothes aren’t wearing you. In other words, you have all the power. Things only have the power that you ascribe to them.

Libra Placements (Birthday between September 23 – October 22):

You’re in contemplation mode, considering what makes things tick in your life and looking beneath the surface. This month, you’re encouraged to consider what you truly and deeply desire; what’s behind the veil? Be creative and think expansively because the world is way bigger than you think it is. Spending a million dollars doesn’t seem like that much to some people. Having two boyfriends and a girlfriend is not out of the ordinary for some people. Reading 100 books a year is not unheard of. You can be, do and have way more than you’re giving yourself credit for. Stand in your power and make some demands.

Tarotscopes | The Emperor: You’re used to being driven by the softness of The Empress, but this month, try on a different identity. You’re in charge of your life
