To Nicole Busch, style is about more than putting together great outfits. It’s about expressing a signature, unforgettable YOU — in the way that Coco Chanel became synonymous with tweed and pearls, she says, or Karl Lagerfeld became known for his gloves and ponytail.

What she’s bringing to Style Swap: A pair of green silk tie-dye joggers “that were my go-to pants all summer and for multiple vacations.” And a pair of cropped Current Elliott boyfriend jeans.

Favorite fall/winter fashion trend?

Anything LEOPARD. It’s my signature style. Although, I think it’s classy and always in style!

Fashion trend you’d love to see make a comeback?

The art of dressing. While I am a casual person, I would love to see the effort by women in the 1940s demonstrated today. Christian Dior, in the ’40s, created the groundbreaking silhouette that emphasized a woman’s body. Paired with a hat and gloves, it was the epitome of elegance.

Heels or flats/sneakers?

HEELS all the way!

You’re strutting a major fashion runway. What’s your song?

Lizzo’s “Good as Hell.” I play this song during my keynote speaking engagements. It’s catchy, uplifting, and empowering!

At age 42, Amanda Kingsbury did a cartwheel on a dance floor in a pair of 4-inch heels. Lesson learned.
